HIGHLIGHTS
Hicksville 8, Uniondale 7: Chris Barling delivered a game-tying, two-run double and then scored on an error to give Hicksville (1-2) the lead for good in the bottom of the sixth inning of its Nassau AAA-II opener. Matthew O'Neill and Chad Jackson scored on Barling's double. Deacon Millis went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs. Uniondale (1-1) took a 7-4 lead in the top of the sixth on Steven Frias' two-run double. Frias also homered earlier in the game and finished with three RBIs.
