Mepham 6, Calhoun 4: Ben Hoffman went 2-for-4 with five RBIs, including a grand slam in the top of the fourth inning to give Mepham (3-0) a 6-0 lead in League AA-III. Bobby Appel came on in relief and escaped a bases loaded, no out jam in the bottom of the sixth inning to maintain a 6-3 lead. Dylan Stock came in for the seventh with runners on first and second and induced a double play. With the tying run at the plate, he recorded a strikeout to earn the save.
