Long Island Lutheran vs Garden City

Long Island Lutheran 4, Garden City 3: Cameron Coco hit a two-out, two-run single to score Freddie Von Bargen and Vincent Bourne in the bottom of the sixth inning, giving Long Island Lutheran (6-5) the lead for good in non-league. LuHi entered the inning trailing 3-1, but with runners on first and second base, Bourne executed a hit-and-run play and the team scored on an error to cut the deficit in half before Coco's hit. Nick Nardone earned the win out of the bullpen, while Matt Muzikant struck out a batter in the seventh to lock down the save. Matthew Garib struck out two over two innings in relief. Jake Brown hit a two-out, two-RBI single in the top of the sixth for Garden City (7-3), giving his squad the aforementioned 3-1 lead.
