Sachem East 13, Whitman 2: Tyler Raynor struck out three and allowed no earned runs over four innings to earn the win for No. 5 Sachem East over No. 6 Whitman in a Suffolk Class AAA elimination game. Joe Rondinella went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, a triple, two runs scored, a hit by pitch and a stolen base. Chris Ragona went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored. Matthew Toia went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored. Aron Brown went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Sachem East (16-6) will host No. 10 North Babylon in an elimination game at noon Saturday. Whitman finished 13-7.
