Riverhead 2, Newfield 1: Braddy Hubbard hit a walk off two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning in No.12 Riverhead's win over No.13 Newfield in the first round of the elimination bracket in Suffolk AAA playoffs. Matthew Zambriski tossed a three-hitter allowing one walk and zero earned runs in seven innings. Camden Wallace added two hits. Riverhead (13-9) will face the loser of No.3 Smithtown East/No.11 Floyd 4 pm Thursday in the second round of the elimination bracket. Newfield finished 11-11.
