Carey vs Division

Carey 6, Division 4: Jacob Daddino drove in John Milan and Nick Medoro on a go-ahead single in the top of the eight of No. 4 Carey's win over No. 5 Division in Game 3 of the Nassau Class AA quarterfinal series. Daddino struck out three in 2 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win and Medoro 3-for-4 with three runs. Jayden Gigante went 2-for-3 to become Carey's all-time leader in hits with 117. The record was previously held by Kyle DeMeo. Carey (17-6) will face No. 1 Bellmore JFK the semifinals for the second straight year, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Division finished 17-7.
