Division 8, Great Neck North 0: Junior Anthony Papa pitched a perfect game, striking out 10 to lead Division (6-1) in League A-II. Papa induced a groundout to short, a grounder back to the mound, an unassisted out a first and an out to rightfield - a play where Francis Alexander, playing shallow because of the wind, charged in and threw to first. It's the first perfect game in school history since at least the 70s, coach Tom Tuttle said, and possibly in the school's history. "My fastball was moving today lot of velocity really helped me a lot," Papa said. "It turned out to be a really good day." Joe Piscatelli went 2-for-4 with a run and Joe Spitaleri had a two-RBI single in the fifth.
