Mineola 9, Floral Park 6: With the score tied 4-4 in the top of the seventh inning, Jesse Kostulias drove in Luke Martinez and Ryan Valente to give Mineola (1-3) the lead for good in Nassau A-I. Later in the game, Maksym Walters singled in a pair to make it 9-4 for his first varsity hit. Kostulias finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs. Martinez finished 2-for-4. Reliever Ryan Valente went 1 1/3 innings to earn his the win. For Floral Park (2-3), Sebastian Cabrera drove in three runs while Kaleb Vidal went 2-for-4 with two doubles.
