Bay Shore 5, Smithtown East 3: Matt Lawlor pitched 3.1 innings to pick up his second win of the week in relief to lead Bay Shore (3-0) in League III. Bay Shore took a 5-2 lead after a four-run sixth inning that was capped off by Jake Stein's two-run single. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, center fielder Kevin Otto made a diving catch on a line drive, with the tying runs on second and third.
