Oceanside 4, Calhoun 1: Chris Hood pitched a complete game five hitter, allowing an earned run, while striking out 11 and walking one for Oceanside (2-1) in its non-conference win. Pat Broder's two-run double plated Kyle Martin and John Condon to give the Sailors a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth. Danny Villela went 2-for-3 with a single, a double and a stolen base.
