The next batter, Tyler Maggio, doubled the lead by singling in Colin Ark to help put the game out of reach. Ryan Loughlin threw allowed two runs on five hits while striking out eight batters over seven innings to earn the win. Vido Spadafina pitched a scoreless bottom of the eighth with a strikeout to record the save. Rocky Point is now one win away from clinching a playoff berth.
