Carey 3, MacArthur 1: Justin Babiak scattered five hits and a run over six innings and struck out four to lead No. 9 Carey past No. 1 MacArthur in game three of the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. Matteo Tufano locked down the save in the seventh inning and had two hits for Carey (17-7). Christian Boswell collected two hits and an RBI in the win. Carey will now face No. 2 Bellmore JFK in the semifinals starting on Sunday, May 19. Dylan Tripi hit a solo home run for MacArthur, who finished the season 17-6.
