Long Beach 3, South Side 2: Hunter Stadtman had the game-winning one-out single in the bottom of the ninth to score Steven Misrok and send No. 5 Long Beach to the Nassau AA semifinals after sweeping No. 4 South Side. Christian Parisa pitched eight innings, striking out 15 while allowing three hits and two runs. Troy DeFrancesco earned the win, retiring two batters in a hitless, scoreless ninth inning. Misrok and Alonzo Espinet had two hits each. Long Beach (17-5-1) will face No. 1 MacArthur in the semifinals Sunday, May 19, barring reseeding. South Side finishes the season 10-10-1.
