Plainview JFK 14, Carle Place 7: Chris Tracz went 4-for-4, with a two-run homer, a double, a single, three RBIs and four runs scored for Plainview JFK (2-0) in its non-conference win. Vinny Ruggiero's two-run homer highlighted the Hawks' two-run second inning that tied the score at six. Matt Chasan's RBI single plated Jeremy Lambert to give Plainview JFK an 8-7 lead in the bottom of the fourth. Lambert finished 3-for-4, with a double and an RBI. Spencer Pokorny went 3-for-4, with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Jake Saltzman finished 3-for-5, with a triple, a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.
