North Babylon 4, Northport 2: Dennis Kelly pitched six innings, allowing four hits, two runs and had four strikeouts as No. 7 North Babylon defeated No. 6 Northport in the first round of the Suffolk I Losers Bracket. Tristan Garcia made a diving catch with two outs and bases loaded in bottom of the fourth inning to preserve the lead and then Hayden Magliano drove in what proved to be the winning run on a ground. Eric Schulteisz and Ariel Nunez each had RBI singles. North Babylon (14-8) will travel to face No. 5 Smithtown West at 4:30 in the second round.
