Comsewogue vs Rocky Point

Rocky Point 6, Comsewogue 3: Justin Bono hit a go-ahead two-RBI single to score AJ Aschettino and Jonny Bohlman in the fifth inning to lead No. 2 Rocky Point over No. 7 Comsewogue in the first round of the Suffolk Conference IV playoffs. Jeremy Graham finished the the four-run two-out rally by scoring Bono on a single. Dom Carbone started the rally with a single and Aschettino walked before Bohlman drove in Carbone on a double to tie the game at 3. Carbone struck out seven and allowed two hits in seven innings to earn the win. Rocky Point (17-4) will face the winner of No. 3 Miller Place/No. 6 East Hampton in the second round Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Comsewogue (11-10) will face the loser of Miller Place/East Hampton Wednesday at 4 p.m.
