Plainedge 3, Island Trees 0: Nick Andersen threw his first no-hitter for Plainedge (9-10) in Nassau A-IV. Andersen had four strikeouts and three walks. Nick Gerardi hit a two-run home run and Zach Rosenzweig hit a solo home run in the bottom in the third inning. " He was pitching for contact today and was able to stay low in his pitch count, the defense helped him out from behind," said coach Colin Fratrik.
