Smithtown West 4, Northport 3: Jack Laprarie hit a walk-off triple to lead Smithtown West (11-1) over Northport (6-6-1) in extra innings in Suffolk II. Trailing 3-2 with two outs and two strikes, Kyan Zamaniyan hit a double to score Christian Chase from first base to tie the game at three in the bottom of the seventh inning. That would set up Laprarie in the bottom of the eight to hit the walk-off triple, scoring Jason Zeller from first base for the winning run. Zamaniyan only allowed three runs and six hits while striking out eight and walking one in five innings pitched. Brian Hope pitched two scoreless inning of relief and Connor Catania earned the win pitching the eighth inning and striking out the side.
