Smithtown West 2, Northport 1: Trailing 1-0 in the top of the seventh inning with two outs and runners on first an second, Brady Austin hit a two-run double to put Smithtown West (10-1) up one to lead them over Northport (6-6-1) in Suffolk II. Michael Cascione added two hits and scored the go ahead run in the seventh inning. Austin also pitched five innings of one-hit baseball with seven strikeouts, five walks and one unearned run. Brian Hope pitched the final two innings of scoreless relief, striking out two, to earn the win.
