Carey 9, Calhoun 4: Erick Vilchez had six strikeouts and allowed five hits and three earned runs in a complete game, Darren Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with a home run, Anthony Catapano went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs and John Heyer went 3-for-3 with a double to lead No. 3 Carey (15-6) over No. 6 Calhoun in game two of the Class AA quarterfinals. Carey wins the series 2-0 and will play in the semifinals beginning Monday.
