Smithtown West 2, Centereach 0: Ryan Conk threw a complete game striking out 11, walking two, and allowing three hits to lead No. 5 Smithtown West over No. 7 Centereach in the Suffolk II semi-finals. Ryan Setter and Jacque LaPrarie each walked and scored in the bottom of the sixth inning after a successful double steal and a sacrifice fly from Dom Crema and a two out RBI single from Josh DiBlanda. Centereach pitcher Dom Persichilli pitched six innings surrendering one hit, three walk's, and three strikeouts, and two runs. Smithtown West (16-9) will now play host No. 4 Smithtown East at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in the finals.
