Rocky Point 3, East Islip 0: Sean Hamilton allowed three hits and struck out nine over six innings and hit a solo homer to help top-seeded Rocky Point (21-2) beat No. 3 East Islip and clinch the Section XI Class A Conference III championship. Rocky Point (21-2) will play the Conference IV winner for Suffolk's Class A title in a best-of-three series that begins on May 27. Niko Sorice hit a solo homer in the third, Cody Miller had an RBI single in the fifth and Hamilton cracked his homer in the sixth.
