East Meadow 8, Baldwin 2: Shawn Haber pitched 5.2 innings allowing two runs and striking out five to get the win for No. 3 East Meadow over No. 6 Baldwin in the first-round of the Nassau AA Playoffs. James Reilly came in with one out in the sixtth inning and two runners on base and retired both batters he faced and pitched a scoreless seventh to earn the save. James Reilly went 2-for-3 with a homerun, two runs scored and an RBI. Will Brennan went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and a run scored, Steven Edwards scored two runs and drove in a run and Mike Feldman went 1-for-2 with an RBI. East Meadow (14-4) will play game two of the AA quarterfinal series is at 4 p.m. at Baldwin High School tomorrow.
