HIGHLIGHTS
Commack 2, Bay Shore 1: Nick Perullo's single drove in Paul Maline in the bottom of the seventh inning as No. 4 Commack (16-5) topped No. 15 Bay Shore in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Bay Shore tied it at 1 in the top of the sixth. Rob Paccione allowed five hits and struck out six in a complete game to earn the win. The Cougars will host Deer Park at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
