Tucker Hahn's bases loaded walk on a 3-2 pitch drove in the tying run for the Bulldogs. Island Trees trailed 4-0 after the first inning, but clawed back in the fourth, capped by Mele's RBI double to draw the Bulldogs to within 4-3. Aaron Rosenthal allowed no earned runs, with six hits, three walks, and nine strikeouts over eight innings.
