HIGHLIGHTS
Nick Ungania had three doubles and drove in all four runs to lead Chaminade to the win in both teams' CHSAA opener. His two-run double in the top of the seventh put the Flyers ahead. John Downing got the win after pitching 6 2/3 innings allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with nine strikeouts. SJB's Kyle Chase pitching six innings of two-hit, two run ball with eight strikeouts but got no decision. His long solo homer to left put the Cougars ahead 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth.
