HIGHLIGHTS
Eastport-South Manor 8, Comsewogue 4: Tristan Gatchalian's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning drove in Derek Masino, who walked and stole second to break a tie at 4 and lead Eastport-South Manor (9-2) in Suffolk League V. ESM scored five runs in the eighth. Kieran Minihane added an RBI single and Anthony Sanguedolce had a two-run single. Minihane went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Danny Tiedemann pitched five innings and allowed two hits and two earned runs and Luca Occhiogrosso earned the win by striking out two batters in two scoreless innings of relief. The Sharks clinched a playoff berth with the win.
