HIGHLIGHTS
Wheatley lefthander Kyle Rosenberg went 6 1/3 innings and struck out 10 and Connor Quinn came on with two men on base to close out the Nassau B/C victory over host Oyster Bay. Danny Gillette had a run-scoring single in his first varsity game and shortstop Dylan Rosenberg tracked down a ball in the hole between short and third base and threw to third base for the game-ending out for the Wildcats (7-0). Tommy Rizzuto had a two-run single and hard-luck loser Mike Gatti struck out 11 for the Baymen (6-1).
