HIGHLIGHTS
Chaminade righty Andrew Heiderstadt came in to get an inning-ending strikeout in the the fifth inning with the bases loaded to protect a three-run lead and Tommy Lebrecht and Brady Steinert each drove in two runs as the Flyers took Game 1 in the Best-of-3 CHSAA Championship Series. JJ Gatti went 4.2 innings to earn the win for Chaminade (13-4). Tyler Burke started a 3-6-3 double play and shortstop Nolan Nawrocki made a barehanded play near the mound and threw out the runner at first to save a run for the Flyers. John Kwiatkowski had a double and an RBI for Kellenberg (13-4).
