HIGHLIGHTS
In the first game of the CHSAA doubleheader, Kellenberg's John Kwiatkowski's solo home run in the fifth inning proved the difference as the Firebirds bounced back from their first loss of the season, earlier in the week to the Bayhawks. Lefty reliever Brendan McCann was summoned into a 5-3 game with one out and a runner in scoring position in the sixth. The inherited runner scored, but he never gave up the lead in, saving the game for starter John Hughes and Kellenberg (9-1). Sophomore third baseman Andrew Koshy threw out two baserunners - one at the plate - in the seventh inning. Luca Lopestrone had three hits and Sean Lane and Enzo Crpentiere each had two for St. Dom's (5-6).
