MacArthur 4, Plainedge 3: David Johnsen hit a walk-off RBI double in the 13th to lead No. 8 MacArthur (14-7-1) over No. 9 Plainedge in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal. Jimmy Mahoney's two-out, two-run double in the seventh tied the score at 3 for the Generals. Chris Roach struck out 11 over five innings for MacArthur, and Kyle Gartner struck out three over two innings to earn the win. Justin DeMaria went 4-for-4 with a run. MacArthur will visit Clarke in the semifinals on Friday.
