Clarke 10, Island Trees 9: Matt DeStefano's double in the top of the seventh drove in Chris Giardino to give Clarke (7-1-1) an 8-7 lead in its Nassau A-V win. Giardino's double earlier in the inning drove in Tyler Cox to tie the game at 7. Jack Layburn drove in two runs later in the seventh to cap a four-run frame. Justin Goetz pitched the seventh to earn the save, striking out the final batter with the potential game-tying run on third.
