Hewlett 6, Glen Cove 5: Sam Kelstein struck out the final batter of the game with the bases loaded to earn the save and secure the win for Hewlett (3-1) in Nassau A-III. The potential tying and go ahead runs were stranded on second and third for Glen Cove. Jason Barry allowed one unearned run and struck out nine in six innings to collect the win. Barry also went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Dillon Ristano went 4-for-4 with two, two-out RBIs and Anthony Isayov drew his third walk of the game with the bases loaded in the sixth to give Hewlett a 6-1 lead.
