Jericho 7, Herricks 0: At second singles, Jasmine Peng defeated Ellie Wu 21-8, 21-4 at second singles to help lead No. 1 Jericho past No. 9 Herricks in the quarterfinals of the Nassau County playoffs. Amy Chen and Hannah Miu of Jericho (15-0) defeated Angela Wang and Janet Chen 21-7, 21-5 at first doubles. Jericho will host No. 4 Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK on Friday at 4:30 p.m. for the semifinals. Herricks finished 15-1.
