CHSAA Girls Badminton Singles Tournament at St. John the Baptist High School: First singles, first place: Katie Maguire (St. John the Baptist), (4-0), Maguire was named CHSAA Player of the Year and finished 15-1 to end the season. First singles, second place: Morena DeVito (St. Anthony’s), (3-1). Second singles, first place: Alice Fong (St. Anthony’s), (3-1), and Shannon Fang (The Mary Louis Academy), (3-1), finished in a tie. Third singles, first place Amanda Watson (St. John the Baptist), 5-0. Watson went undefeated at 17-0 this season. Third singles, second place: Hayley Pulvidente (Our Lady of Mercy), (4-1). St. Mary’s High School won the Varsity Sportsmanship Award.
