Aviana Goode set meet records in the 55-meter hurdles (8.29) and high jump (5 feet, 5 inches) to lead Bay Shore at the League II championship at Suffolk Community College. Bay Shore won their 25th-straight league championship, according to coach Steve Borbet. Jasmine Reyes won the 3,000-meter run (10:43.68) and the 1,500-meter run (4:55.80), Rachel Mihlstin won the long jump (17 feet, 2.25 inches), and Patrice Baston won the triple jump (35 feet, 11 inches) for Bay Shore. Whitman's Rosemarie Bryant was the previous record holder in the 55-meter hurdles with a 8.4 in 1994. Smithtown East's Lisa Marciano (1998), Bay Shore's Erica Silhan (2012) and Whitman's Jackie Crunden (2013) were the previous record holders in the high jump with a score of 5.4.
