Smithtown's Nick Cipolla won the 5-kilometer Varsity A race in 17:10 at the Bob Pratt Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park, the fastest time of meet. Steven Spreizer (17:15) and Nick DeFelice (17:22) placed second and third, respectively. Smithtown won the Varsity A points with 27 points.
