Highlights: Lindenhurst 62, Half Hollow Hills East 42: Sean Valera completed all 10 of his pass attempts for 145 yards and three touchdowns to lead Lindenhurst (2-5) in Suffolk I. Valera’s first TD pass put Lindenhurst ahead 14-0 in the first, as he connected with Jon Tait for a 35-yard score. After the teams exchanged touchdowns, Valera made it 28-6 at the end of the first by hitting Joe Morhardt for a 20-yard TD. Peter Mangione had eight carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns, including the game’s first score from 64-yards out. Anthnoy Lanzeri had 10 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns, and later threw for a 56-yard TD to Tait on a wildcat pass play in the third quarter that put Lindenhurst ahead, 48-33.
