Highlights: Farmingdale 3, Mepham 0: Michele DeStefano had 13 kills and four blocks and Sarah Hund added eight kills and two aces for No. 5 Farmingdale (6-9) in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. Farmingdale will play Port Washington in the quarterfinals at 8 p.m. Friday night.

Highlights: Abigail Johnson had 17 kills to lead Mepham (9-7) in AA-II. Jessica Monteserrato added 39 assists and Kelcey Taylor had eight kills.

Highlights: Mepham 3, Freeport 0: Allison Patwell had eight kills and 13 digs for Mepham (8-7) in a 25-21, 25-18, 25-11 win in Nassau Conference AA-II.
