Highlights: The East Meadow-Hicksville game was not played Saturday because Hicksville was forced to forfeit since it did not have enough varsity players available due to injury, according Section VIII Football coordinator Pat Pizzarelli. Pizzarelli said New York State requires that a team must have 16 players dressed and able to play in order to participate in a game, and Hicksville had sustained too many injuries in its previous game and could not field a team. East Meadow is 2-1 and Hicksville is 0-3.
