Canisius 2, Chaminade 1: Austin Zaepfel assisted on Canisius' first goal less than ten minutes into the game, and then scored the game-winner in the second overtime to lift Canisius over Chaminade in the CHSAA State championship.

Blake Bohlen scored his 32nd goal of the season off a through ball from Jasper Rubin-Sigler with 3:37 left to win it for Port Jefferson (19-0) in a state Class C semifinal at Middletown high school.

Jericho 4, Williamsville East 2: Derek Medolla and Zach Cohen each scored two goals to lead Jericho (19-1-1) past Williamsville East (19-1) in the state Class A semifinals at Middletown High School. Jericho will go for it's second straight state title on Sunday at 10:30.

Highlights:
Kevin Diaz is having quite a postseason for Brentwood. Diaz scored on a header off a great cross from Eric Molina with 26:57 left in the game for the first goal of the game to lift Brentwood to a 2-0 win over Webster Schroeder Saturday afternoon at Middletown high school. Diaz has scored four goals in six postseason games, including the winner in overtime of 2-1 win over Half Hollow Hills East in the Suffolk Class A final. Brentwood (22-0), which is ranked No. 2 in the country by the NSCAA, will play the winner of Arlington-Utica Proctor at 1 p.m. Sunday in the finals as the Indians go for a perfect season and their second state title in three seasons. Ever Torres, who left the LICs with an ankle injury, started and scored with 12:22 left to make it 2-0. Brentwood has allowed one goal in its last 12 games and outscored opponents on the season, 75-6.

Ari Lewis had six saves for his 15th shutout of the year and third of the postseason. It is Jericho's second straight Long Island Championship. Jericho will play in the state semifinals against Williamsville East High School of Section VI on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Middletown High School.

Senior goalie Josh Haberman made three saves in the shutout. Syosset will face Brentwood in the Long Island Championship on Wednesday at Dowling at 6:30 p.m.

Will Slattery made 10 saves in the win. HHHE will play top-seeded Brentwood in the finals at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the finals at Dowling Sports Complex.
