Diaz scored on a header off a great cross from Eric Molina with 26:57 left in the game for the first goal of the game to lift Brentwood to a 2-0 win over Webster Schroeder Saturday afternoon at Middletown high school. Diaz has scored four goals in six postseason games, including the winner in overtime of 2-1 win over Half Hollow Hills East in the Suffolk Class A final. Brentwood (22-0), which is ranked No. 2 in the country by the NSCAA, will play the winner of Arlington-Utica Proctor at 1 p.m. Sunday in the finals as the Indians go for a perfect season and their second state title in three seasons. Ever Torres, who left the LICs with an ankle injury, started and scored with 12:22 left to make it 2-0. Brentwood has allowed one goal in its last 12 games and outscored opponents on the season, 75-6.
