Glenn will defend its state championship, beginning with pool play on Saturday in Glens Falls.

Highlights: Ward Melville 3, Massapequa 0: Emily Astirita had 17 kills and 19 digs, Kellie Rizzo had 37 assists and Kristin Bendy had 13 kills, 11 digs and 2 blocks as Ward Melville (17-0) won its seventh Long Island class AA championship, beating Massapequa (16-1) 25-16, 25-17, 25-21 at Roslyn.

Highlights: King's Park 3, South Side 0: Amanda Gannon had 16 kills, two aces, ten digs and two blocks in King's Park's Class A finals victory over South Side. They will play in the New York State championship Saturday at 3:00 at Glenn Falls Civic Center against Pittsford Sutherland, Burnt Hills and Walter Panas

Highlights: Babylon 3, Oyster Bay 0: Senior Mary Tighe led Babylon (17-2) to a 25-16, 25-20, 26-24 win over Oyster Bay in the Long Island Class C Championship. It is Babylon's first Long Island Championship in program history, according to coach Patrick Donaldson.
