Highlights: Connetquot 8, Smithtown West 6: Justin Scala went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs to lead No. 8 Connetquot (14-9) over No. 12 Smithtown West in the third round of the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket. Brian McKean entered with the score 8-5 with runners on first and third and no outs in the top of the seventh and allowed one earned run and retired the side to pick up his first save of the postseason. Connetquot will face No. 4 Commack in the fourth round on Wednesday at Commack at 4 p.m.

Highlights: East Islip 9, Half Hollow Hills East 2: Paul Dondero went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and a run, Ken Rotunno went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Dave Palmer pitched a complete game four-hitter, allowing one earned, no walks and three strikeouts to lead No. 1 East Islip (19-3) over No. 7 Half Hollow Hills East in a Class AA losers bracket game. East Islip will play the winner of No. 5 Deer Park and No. 6 Smithtown East on Monday.

Highlights: Deer Park 13, Smithtown East 3: John Downs went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Matt Porcaro went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead No. 5 Deer Park (17-6) over No. 6 Smithtown East in a Class AA losers bracket game. Deer Park moves to play No. 1 East Islip on Monday.

Highlights: Smithtown West 7, Sachem East 3: Peter Torres' two-run single tied it at 3 in the sixth and Mike Bugliarelli's RBI single gave the Smithtown West a 4-3 lead in the seventh as the 12th-seeded Bulls (14-9) beat No. 3 Sachem East in the second round of the Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket. Joe Goldberg pitched four scoreless, no-hit innings of relief to earn the win. Nick Attardi's RBI hit capped a four-run seventh. The Bulls visit Connetquot at 4 p.m. Monday.

Highlights: No. 6 Smithtown East 1, No. 14 Hauppauge 0: Devon Caybasi hit a two-out walk-off single to score Josh Castro and give No. 6 Smithtown East (15-7) the win over No. 14 Hauppauge in a Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket game. Caybasi also pitched a complete game four-hitter with three walks and three strikeouts. Smithtown East will play a road game against the loser of No. 4 Commack vs. No. 5 Deer Park on Friday at 4 p.m.

Highlights: Smithtown West 4, Bay Shore 2: Matt Lichtman stole home in the fifth to tie the game 2-2 and Anthony Governale had a two-out RBI double to score Kyle O'Rouke with the go-ahead run to lead No. 12 Smithtown West (13-9) over No. 13 Bay Shore in a AA loser bracket game. Anthony Treccariche pitched 6-1/3 allowing five hits and two runs and Peter Byrnes retired the last two batters for the save for West. West moves on to play Sachem East on Friday.

Highlights: Longwood 4, Smithtown East 2: Camden Orologio's RBI double in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie in the win over (6) Smithtown East in the Class AA first round. Tyler Echeverria's RBI single in the sixth inning drove in Joe Harris and tied the game at two. (11) Longwood will play the winner of (3)Sachem East/ (14) Hauppague on Wednesday at 4:00pm in the second round.

Highlights: Deer Park 8, Smithtown West 5: Nick Sorge and Mike Isola each went 2-for-3, with three RBIs for No. 5 Deer Park (16-5) in its Suffolk Class AA first round win over No. 12 Smithtown West. Matt Porcaro tossed 6 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs, while striking out five and walking two. The Falcons advance to play at No. 4 Commack at 4 p.m. May 15.

Highlights: Kings Park 5, Half Hollow Hills East 3: Lee Baker's squeeze bunt scored Tyler Manuello in the sixth inning, breaking a 3-3 tie in the first round of the Class AA playoffs. Zach Garick's snagged a line drive and threw to second to complete a game-ending double play with the bases loaded. (10) Kings Park (14-7) will face (2) Ward Melville on Wednesday at 4pm at Ward Melville.

Highlights: Smithtown East 7, West Islip 4: Nick Aurricchio escaped jams in the sixth and seventh innings to earn his fifth save as the Bulls clinched the Suffolk League III title. Matt Kelly hit a two-run homer during a six-run second for East (14-6). Dan Daley homered and had three hits for the host Lions (10-10), who needed the victory to qualify for the playoffs.
