Highlights: Longwood 6, East Islip 4: Aaron Floyd's two-out, two-run home run capped a three-run seventh and gave No. 11 Longwood (15-9) the 6-4 lead in its upset of No. 1 East Islip (19-4) in a Suffolk AA losers bracket fourth round game. Floyd's home run followed Kenny Johntry's RBI single with one out that scored Chris Weiss to tie it at 4. Longwood will play in the losers bracket semifinal, Saturday, against the winner of No. 4 Commack/No. 8 Connetquot.

Highlights: Connetquot 10, Commack 1: Justin Scala went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored, Steven Schmitt went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run and Brian McKean went 2-for-5 with two runs to lead No. 8 Connetquot (14-9) over No. 4 Commack (17-7) in a Class AA losers bracket semifinal. Casey Baker (seven innings, seven hits, six strikeouts) extinguished Commack's biggest threat by striking out the final two batters of the first inning after the Cougars had loaded the bases. Conneqtuot moves on to play Longwood on Saturday at 11am.

Highlights: Ward Melville 4, Half Hollow Hills West 2: Anthony Kay pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven for No. 2 Ward Melville (18-5) in a 4-2 win over ninth-seeded Half Hollow Hills West (18-6) in the winner's bracket final of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Joe Flynn had a two-run homer in the win. Ward Melville advances to its first Suffolk County title game, while, Hills West will play the winner of Saturday's Connetquot-Longwood elimination game on Tuesday in the losers bracket final.

Highlights: Joe Flynn's fifth-inning home run was the lone run of the game and junior Chris Cepeda threw six shutout innings as No. 2 Ward Melville defeated No. 11 Longwood. Senior Anthony Kay pitched a scoreless seventh inning to save the win for the Patriots. Ward Melville will host Half Hollow Hills West on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Class AA semifinals.

Highlights: Half Hollow Hills West 6, Commack 4: Justin Pelletier's two-run single, scoring pinch runner Nick Lombardi and David Golinowski, was the key hit in the top of the eighth inning for No. 9 Half Hollow Hills West (18-5) in its 6-4 win over No. 4 Commack (17-6). Sal Lovaglio tossed a complete-game 10-hitter, allowing four earned runs, while striking out 10 and walking two. Owen McMenamy went 3-for-3, with two doubles and two RBIs. Jon Farci was 2-for-3, with an RBI. The Colts will play at No. 2 Ward Melville (18-5) in the Suffolk Class AA Winners bracket final at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Highlights: Longwood 5, Sachem East 4: Camden Orologio's RBI single scored Aaron Floyd to break a 4-4 tie in the top of the seventh inning for No. 11 Longwood (14-8) in its Suffolk Class AA second round win over No. 3 Sachem East. Reliever Kris Killackey tossed two scoreless innings, allowing a hit and no walks for the win.

Highlights: Ward Melville 4, Kings Park 1: Andrew Schelberg's pinch-hit, two-out, two-run single in the sixth inning gave (2) Ward Melville a 4-0 lead over (10) Kings Park in the second round of the Class AA playoffs. Joe Flynn's solo home run in the second broke a scoreless tie. Flynn went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Anthony Kay pitched a three-hitter and struck out 11. It is the senior's 20th double digit strikeout game of his career. Ward Melville (16-5) will play the winner of (11) Longwood/(3)Sachem East on Monday at 4pm.

Jesse Kilmetis pitched two scoreless innings in relief with three strikeouts to pick up the save. Commack will face No. 9 Half Hollow Hills West in the quarterfinals on Monday at Commack at 4 p.m.

Highlights: Commack 2, Bay Shore 1: Nick Perullo's single drove in Paul Maline in the bottom of the seventh inning as No. 4 Commack (16-5) topped No. 15 Bay Shore in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Bay Shore tied it at 1 in the top of the sixth. Rob Paccione allowed five hits and struck out six in a complete game to earn the win. The Cougars will host Deer Park at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Highlights: Longwood 4, Smithtown East 2: Camden Orologio's RBI double in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie in the win over (6) Smithtown East in the Class AA first round. Tyler Echeverria's RBI single in the sixth inning drove in Joe Harris and tied the game at two. (11) Longwood will play the winner of (3)Sachem East/ (14) Hauppague on Wednesday at 4:00pm in the second round.
