Highlights: Rocky Point 5, Islip 4: Annie Kennedy went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead RBI single in the third and a solo home run in the seventh to help her own cause as No. 6 Rocky Point (16-5) upset No. 3 Islip (14-7) in a Suffolk Class A quarterfinal. Kennedy's RBI single immediately followed Emily O'Connor's two-run triple and gave Rocky Point a 3-2 lead it would never give up. Her home run in the seventh made the score 5-3, as she pitched a complete game to earn the win. Rocky Point will play the winner of No. 2 Eastport-South Manor/No. 7 Bayport-Blue Point in a semifinal, Thursday.

Rebecca Stopsky pitched a complete game with one earned run and three strikeouts. Smithtown East will face No. 2 Commack on Monday at Commack at 4:15 p.m.
