Highlights: Bay Shore 8, Hauppauge 3: Senior Michelle DeVito pitched a complete game with three unearned runs on seven hits, three walks and 15 strikeouts to lead No. 1 Bay Shore (22-2) over No. 4 Hauppauge in the Suffolk Class AA loser’s bracket final. DeVito also went 2-for-4 with a solo homerun in the bottom of the sixth and two RBIs. Bay Shore will face No. 3 Longwood at home in the county final on Saturday at 2 p.m. Bay Shore needs to win that game to force a winner-take-all game. A win by Longwood would clinch the county championship.

Longwood will face the winner of Bay Shore vs. No. 4 Hauppauge in the county final on Saturday at Longwood at a time to be determined.

Bay Shore moves on to play No. 4 Hauppauge in the semifinals on Friday at 4pm.

Hauppauge host the winner of Hills West and Lindenhurst on Wednesday at 4pm.

Kaly Alzate went 3-for-4, with a triple, two RBIs and a run. The Marauders host No. 8 Riverhead (15-5) in the second round at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Highlights: Deer Park 3, Connetquot 2: Sabrina Riley's diving catch at shortstop with the bases loaded and two outs in the seventh preserved a 3-2 lead as No. 11 Deer Park (12-8) upset No. 6 Connetquot in a Class AA first round game. Deer Park scored three runs in the fifth on a pair of two-out RBI hits from Theresa Grimaldi and Tori Fox to take the lead. Deer Park moves on to play Longwood on Wednesday at 4:30pm.

Highlights: Lindenhurst 14, Half Hollow Hills East 2: Lori Michalowski's county-leading ninth homer was a two-run round-tripper in the first inning to lead Lindenhurst (12-7) in its League II win. Michalowski went 1-for-1, with a sacrifice fly, three RBIs and two walks. Erin McCarthy was 4-for-4, with four runs. Stephanie Kirgan went 3-for-3, with a double, an RBI and two runs.
