Senior goalie Josh Haberman made three saves in the shutout. Syosset will face Brentwood in the Long Island Championship on Wednesday at Dowling at 6:30 p.m.

David Geyer had seven saves including a crucial save with three minutes left to preserve the shutout. Plainview JFK advances to the second round where they will play at No. 3 MacArthur on Tuesday Oct. 30.

Syosset will play No. 4 Calhoun on Tuesday.
