Center Moriches immediately took advantage, with Edgar Amaya cutting the lead to 2-1. They then tied the game in the second half off a header by Kevin O'Brien in the 62nd minute. Two minutes later, Mattituck's Stephen Urwand scored from 18 yards out off a feed from James Hayes to put them ahead for good. Goalie Stephen Ostrowski had five saves in the game and made a pair of saves with under five minutes to go to preserve the 4-2 lead. Mattituck will take on Carle Place for the Class B Long Island championship Monday at Mitchell Field at 1:30.
