Highlights: Wheatley 7, Locust Valley 6: Tommy Gillette drove in the tying run on a fielders choice and the go-ahead run scored on an error on the same play to put Wheatley ahead 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Billy McLean hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth that put Wheatley in front 5-2 and Mike Carney got the last six outs of the game in his first varsity appearance to lead No. 3 Wheatley (16-8) over No. 1 Locust Valley to win the Nassau Class B championship series 2-0. Wheatley moves on to the Long Island championship on Monday, June 3.

Highlights: Wheatley 9, Locust Valley 8: Dex Iannone hit a sacrifice fly that scored Andrew Hastings from third as the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth to lead No. 3 Wheatley over No. 1 in the first game of the Class B finals. Locust Valley tied the score in the seventh on a sacrifice fly hit by Nick Lollo, which scored Pat Carroll. Billy McLean came on in relief for Wheatley with two outs and the bases loaded in the fifth. He got the third out and pitched three more innings, allowing just one hit. McLean (3-for-4) also hit a two-run single that gave Wheatley an 8-7 lead after the top of the seventh. The second game of the series is Wednesday.

Highlights: Locust Valley 7, East Rockaway 3: Kevin Rieger pitched six innings, allowing five hits and two earned runs, while striking out nine and walking four for No. 1 Locust Valley (18-3) in its Nassau Class B semifinal win over No. 5 East Rockaway. Patrick Carroll's two-run double highlighted a four-run top of the third inning. The Falcons play No. 3 Wheatley in the championship game at 4:30 p.m. May 21 at Hofstra.

Highlights: No. 3 Wheatley 3, No. 2 Oyster Bay 2: Matt Rothstein hit two-run single in the second inning to make it 3-0 and No. 3 Wheatley (14-8) would hold on for the win over No. 2 Oyster Bay in Game 2 of the Nassau Class B Semifinals. Wheatley advances to face the winner of No. 1 Locust Valley vs. No. 5 East Rockaway in the finals on a day to be determined at Adelphi at 4:15 p.m. Rothstein pitched one and two-thirds innings in relief to secure the win, striking out three of the five batters he faced. Billy McLean went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the first and Justin Borczuk went 3-for-3 with a run.

Highlights: Locust Valley 5, East Rockaway 2: Brett Paolicelli pitched a complete game, striking out eight and allowing two earned runs, and Kyle Heiss went 1-for-4 with two RBIs to lead No. 1 Locust Valley over No. 5 East Rockaway in the first game of a best of three Class B semifinals matchup. The second game will be on Wednesday at Malverne High School at 4:30.

Matt Rothstein gave up four hits with 11 strikeouts and zero walks in six innings pitched. Wheatley will play in a semifinal game Monday at No. 2 Oyster Bay, at 4:15 p.m.

Highlights: Locust Valley 8, Cold Spring Harbor 6: Kyle Heiss' two-run double in the bottom of the sixth broke a tie at 6 for Locust Valley (14-2) in Conference BC-I. He finished 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run. Alec Chiappone pitched three innings of scoreless relief for the win.

Highlights: Wheatley 12, Malverne 2: Billy McLean went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple and two RBIs and Ryan Levy went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs to lead Wheatley (11-6) in Conference BC-I. Lambert Chu struck out 10 batters in five innings and allowed one earned run on four hits to earn the win.

Highlights: Wheatley 9, Malverne 0: Matt Rothstein had a no-hitter with 17 strikeouts and two walks and went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Rothstein struck out eight of the nine batters he faced in the third, fourth and fifth innings. Right fielder Mike Dougherty caught a sinking line drive in the second inning and Rothstein helped himself by ranging to his right to get a runner out to save the no-hitter in the sixth. Lambert Chu also went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Wheatley (10-6) in Conference BC-I.

Highlights: Locust Valley 15, Cold Spring Harbor 7: Francis Prettitore's two-run double in the top of the first highlighted a seven-run inning for Locust Valley (13-2), which clinches the Conference BC-I title. He finished 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, five RBIs and three runs. Kyle Heiss went 3-for-5 and Callum Ewen went 3-for-6 with two runs.
